Curse of Aros

Curse of Aros is a fun and pretty MMORPG with a pixelated retro aesthetic where players control a character that they create at the start of the game and have to try and level up by completing different missions.

Once you have been assigned your character (all characters at level one are identical), you will appear in the middle of a forest. There, you will find other players who are connected in real-time. However, you can only talk to them once you reach level five. To level up, you have to go about completing the different missions that help you gain experience and improve your skills. These missions are found in the task board, and as you complete them, you will get objects to upgrade your shield and attacks and experience to level up.

The missions that you are given at the start are very easy and are designed for you to be able to level up while getting to know the gameplay. So, there will be areas of the map where your goal will be to trade, others where you have to hunt butterflies, and others where you can buy food and objects for your inventory. Gradually, you will discover the story hidden behind this tiny pixelated universe and understand just what your real mission is.
